Fellow Super Street Bike racer Graham Dance has a new Len Paget clutch and was into the 8.1s on his fourth run with plenty left in the tune-up. Big CC Racing head honcho Sean Mills was another quick Super Street Bike racer with a 7.690/179.92. Chris Hall ran a superb 7.285/189.80 on his Funny Bike. Mick Templeman built his Super Street Bike himself. Pro ET racer Keith Herbert has won more than one Eurodragster.com Perfect Award. Old and new pick-ups from Alan Williamson and new name to us Terry Robins. Dave James was pulling some nice wheelies with his Super Comp Chevelle. Pro ET racer Vic Amato gave nine-second passenger rides but faces a thrash tonight to fit a new head gasket. Paul Webster headed up a big field of 1320autos customers. Test day regular Simon Rowland was again running both the Super Pro ET and Pro ET dragsters for Formula Tanker Rental. This very nice-looking bike is running in Supertwin Fuel. Rene Van Den Berg's throttle stayed open after this burnout and whilst he was trying to shut off the motor the bike ran down the centre line and took out three timing reflectors. Jeff Meads' B&H Automotive Street Eliminator Pop was smoking the tyres at the hit on every run, a pedal usually did the trick. Funny Bike racer Shaun Branch told us at lunchtime that "Things could be better, but they could be worse". Joe Kellett and Josh Saunders paired up a number of times in their Junior Dragsters. David Rowe was running consistent mid-elevens in Jon Webster's 'Cuda. Liz Malcolm lined up alongside Terry Robins who is thinking of racing his new pick-up in Pro ET. Tim Mugridge's Super Modified Camaro was making some serious moves but Tim knew when enough was enough. Jon Giles is really coming on with his Super Gas Willys, making breaking out look easy now. Jon Webster took three runs to record a 9.5-second pass on Tim Blakemore's 9.50 Bike. Harry Elliott ran bang on the Junior Modified index with an 8.900. Dave Warren usually marshals at test days but today had a run out on his Super Street Bike. This very nice Super Street Bike was testing today but is not on this weekend's entry list. Super Pro ET racer Steve Saunders made a couple of passes. Mathijs Kraezer pulled an impressive wheelie in his Super Pro ET altered. Jim Smith quickly got the hang of Spencer Tramm's Super Pro ET Corrado, clocking 9.169/148.57 this afternoon. Sandra Chaplain's Comp Bike ran in the nines. Brum clocked an impressive 8.834/124.91 on his Supertwin Fuel Bike. Mike Lacey has a new engine in his Camaro and it certainly fit in snugly as Mike quickly approached his Personal Bests. Dan Devlin owns this very tidy Ford 100E. Graham Balchin clocked 7.852/185.72 on this Super Street Bike pass. Carl Atkinson is a regular test day runner on his 9.50 Bike. Paul Coombs runs this Suzuki GSX 1100E in 9.50 Bike. We told Supertwin Gas racer Les Harris that he had to run in the right lane if he wanted to appear in today's gallery and Beardy Bloke obliged next pass. Wheels up for Ken Cooper on his Funny Bike. The Moore brothers' new Dodge Viper Pro Mod made its first appearance this afternoon... ...the burnout started OK... ...and then the timing crew had a Christmas Tree flashback as Roger headed for the middle of the track. Matt Glassup made a couple of impressive checkout passes in dad Bob's Super Pro ET rail. Malcolm Francis and Stuart Morrice paired up for a couple of Super Gas-trim matches. Dave Holland is back in Funny Bike this weekend. Terry Robins built this Chevy pick-up himself in eighteen months and is considering Pro ET. Dave Beck told us that the engine in his Pro Stock Bike contains no parts which have ever run before. Comp Bike racer Phil Crossley is aiming for an eight-second pass this weekend. Steve Bolton pulled a long, long wheelie in his Pro ET Plymouth Scamp. Pro ET racer Gary Springford imported this street-legal Mustang from the USA and Paul Marston drove it into the tens today.
