With a couple of .00 reactions and Harrison's 10.901 in Super Street qualifying, the Brown family came close to relieving us of a lot of Perfect Award money.

Current Supertwin ET #1 Lee Bradbury's christian name wasn't on the entry list so the track announcers dubbed him Lionel.

Cliff Griffin is currently #2 in Outlaw Anglia.

You can always rely on Super Pro ET's Vince Gibbs to give it some during the burnout; thanks to him the track disappeared as (not) seen from Race Control.

Mark White is second in Super Gas qualifying.

Sportsman ET racer John Parker had a mystery in shoe-white on the back of his Mustang.

Bob Brooks had his first outing on the new Yellow Metal Comp Bike which looks immaculate and sounds great.

Ric Naylor's Supertwin Gas bike is also a looker.

Jason Weir was second into the eights in B&H Automotive Street Eliminator qualifying.

Andy Cresswell is living the dream in the Living The Dream Wild Bunch slingshot.

Paul and Dennis Wratten laid down one of the burnouts of the day in the lengthy NFAA Test and Tune session.

Fellow NFAA racer Dave Grabham's Topo loves that guardrail but Dave still blasted a new Personal Best of 7.194.

Tony Betts made his first outing in his new Venom AA/Fuel Altered. You have to wonder how he can see out through that windscreen.

The Chaos AA/FA has sprouted a new rear wing which owner Lawrie Gatehouse discovered gives it half an inch clearance in its trailer.

Junior Drag Bike rookie Brett Cordelle is currently fourth in qualifying.

Helen Williams drives Canuck 2 in VW Sportsman, Shane Rae drives Canuck 1.

Jim Smith's company Cotsweld is sponsoring this weekend's Outlaw Flat Four trophies.

Phil Steele, aka Paso, took time out from the Rouge et Noir restoration to contest Super Street Bike.

It's good to see Dave Bailey back in Funny Bike competition. Trackside nitrous sales have soared.

Ivan Birch is on a new UK Comp Bike speed record of 184.36 mph. 182.52 mph or better will do the job.

If ever a Nostalgia car looked just right, it's Keith Crampton's Wild Bunch slingshot.

It's a short field in VW Pro this weekend but James Hodson is currently second.

Rene van den Berg blasted his Personal Best in Top Fuel Bike qualifying with a 7.819.

Martin Blackwell aka Brum leads Supertwin Fuel qualifying.

Carla Pittau (far lane) and Rick McCann matched up for a husband-and-wife qualifier in Pro ET.

Jo Gallagher runs this very tidy Fiat 850 Spider in Outlaw Flat Four.

Phil West pulled a big wheelie in Outlaw Flat Four qualifying and this is how the Beetle ended up.

Greg Bishop pulling the mandatory Outlaw Flat Four wheelie.

Matt Attwood's Fastback is broken so he is running this camper in VW Alternate Engine to keep up his points tally.

Jerry Collier ran a new Personal Best in Pro Stock Bike qualifying.
